The Lounge is a concept for a venue that provides an energetic nightlife scene. Events range from concerts of local artists and groups to in-house entertainment--such as silent disco and throwback nights.
Starting with a poster, this project grew from one asset built in a classroom to a multi-page website.

IDENTIFYING THE AUDIENCE
Understanding the primary audience was essential in building a flexible visual design. Preliminary work included rough sketches, mind mapping, and a user persona.

POSTER PROCESS
The combination of vibrant imagery and bold text creates a system that can be replicated for various events, while still maintaining each poster's individuality. Key information serves as a base layer of text to inform the viewer, while hand-drawn brush strokes are layered in an eye-catching fashion.

STEP THREE
CRAFTING A DIGITAL PRESENCE
Priority was given to promoting upcoming events and increasing ticket sales. The overall website design was kept clean and minimalistic to highlight the vibrant event aesthetics.
